The climate is changing.

So in Holland we are waiting a lot of years already for a bare and freezing cold Winter.

We want to skate or see other people skate the Elfstedentocht in Friesland.

The tour, almost 200 km in length, follows a closed or circular route along frozen canals, rivers and lakes

visiting the eleven historic Frisian towns:

Leeuwarden, Sneek, IJlst, Sloten, Stavoren, Hindeloopen, Workum, Bolsward, Harlingen, Franeker, Dokkum, then returning to Leeuwarden.

We stay hopeful that one day the canals will freeze over so we have an excuse to go crazy together as a nation.
